General details

Placeholders can be used in many ways, for example in the production of PDFs from default templates or in creating templates of your own documents, email templates, and free texts.

The description of the placeholders is limited to the English language.

Placeholders consist of two parts enclosed by square brackets:

  1. A prefix identifies the record type (e.g. “Invoice” for an invoice). This prefix is written in the so-called “CamelCase” style and is singular in form.
  2. Then the desired field or record property is connected to the prefix with a dot. This field is written in lower case.
